Defining A Communications Transformation Vision For 2020

This leading global energy provider’s marketing strategy was long dependent on traditional channels, and lacked long term vision and a systemic infrastructure for the firms future marketing activity.
Considering the tremendous disruption in the communication space related to shifts in technology, data, media and consumer behavior, the task at hand was to align our Client’s marketing capabilities and strategy with the ever-evolving communications and media landscapes. How must the marketing function evolve? What data infrastructure is required? How could we best optimize this Company to make its marketing activities more efficient?
SOLUTION
In addition to co-creating the vision for this Client’s communications in 2020, Ogilvy Consulting defined a set of future 2020 personas and the customer journey of the future. We then identified key enablers of the vision and created the roadmap to deliver the 2020 vision across people, process and technology.
